The room offered a stunning river view. the bathroom layout was a bit cramped, and I occasionally heard noise from adjacent rooms, which affected my comfort. Good choice for a peaceful getaway, but some improvements in sound insulation would enhance the experience.

perfect base to explore the beautiful norfolk broads area
During my recent stay, I loved the cozy atmosphere while enjoying a pint at the bar and I couldn't get enough of watching the boats glide by on the river, truly a highlight of my visit.

Exceptional breakfast offerings made mornings delightful.
The bathroom facilities were incredibly outdated and unpleasant. I found the shower to be old, and the bathtub didn't function properly, making the entire experience unsanitary. pet hair was left in the room, raising hygiene concerns and detracting from my overall comfort.

The location by the river was stunning. I enjoyed sitting outside, watching the boats and wildlife. The staff greeted me warmly, making me feel at home. Breakfast options were plentiful, with a delicious selection of cooked items. The evening meal I had didn’t disappoint either. everything was well cooked and beautifully presented. My room was clean, but it was on the small side and felt quite warm with no air conditioning. A fan was provided, which helped a bit. The bathroom also felt cramped, making it tricky to move around comfortably. I had some noise disturbances from deliveries in the morning, which was annoying with the windows open for fresh air. The parking situation was a bit confusing, especially with limited signage. I enjoyed the stay but felt the room and bathroom layout could definitely improve for the price I paid.

Family with children, simply fantastic
We were given a room with a view/balcony, which was more than we booked, which was so kind of the hotel. The view from the balcony overlooking the river, the large bed, the bath and the generously restocked bathroom and tea tray was brilliant.
It wasn't inexpensive but you get what you pay for.
